Job Sources
Job Source Quality
WorkRadar job source quality is about clear attribution, honest apply paths, location quality, salary limits, and freshness checks.
Public source labels
Imported or public-source jobs should be labeled clearly. The public experience should distinguish Public Source listings from employer-owned WorkRadar posts.
A public-source label should not imply that the employer has a WorkRadar account, that WorkRadar verified the employer, or that the source endorsed WorkRadar.
Apply on original source
When a job requires an external apply path, WorkRadar should send the candidate to the original source or employer apply page. The site should not claim that an application was submitted through WorkRadar unless that actually happened.
Quality gates
- Source name and source URL should be preserved where available.
- Canada city and province data should pass quality checks before broad display.
- Duplicates should be reduced before import or publishing decisions.
- Missing salary should not be replaced with a made-up salary.
- External source freshness should be reviewed because listings can close or change.
FAQ
Why do some jobs say Public Source?
Public Source tells users that the listing came from an external source rather than a WorkRadar employer account.
Why do some jobs ask me to apply on the original source?
Some external sources or employers require applicants to apply through the original source or employer website. WorkRadar should not pretend it handled the application if it did not.
Does WorkRadar invent salary or source dates?
No. If salary or original source date is missing, WorkRadar should either omit it or label the WorkRadar added date separately.
